PRO TIMING. PRO RESULTS.

REQUIRED FOR ALL M1GP RACES.

M1GP utilizes professional timing at all M1GP race events with the AMB timing system.
The AMB system is widely used in other reputable racing associations MotoGP, USGPRU, WERA, AMA and track day companies throughout the nation.

Benefits of the system:

• Track and measure your performance from race to race, event to event. With the use if this system, our racers will benefit from an invaluable tool.
• Accuracy. The AMB system is VERY accurate. Was the race too close to call? Not with this system. No guessing. No subjective calls.
• Convenience. Simply go to mylaps.com to view the results. They are archived on the site and you can check them at anytime from anywhere. (They will also be posted with points on this site)
• Racers can utilize their Personal Transponder with any of the thousands of tracks and clubs in the world using an AMB system. All new AMB personal transponders allow racers to create a personal MyLaps account. This value added service offers racers a free homepage that stores all their results, allows them to analyze their performance and plan for faster lap times. Transponders can be purchased by AMB directly, or may be purchased used on various sites (make sure it's a Tranx260 - best for motorcycles).
M1GP will provide transponders for rent on a first-come/first serve basis.
Riders with their own AMB TranX260 are welcome, however, the transponder must be mounted in an approved location to confirm signal pick-up (this is recommended to do during practice).

Any racer with a personal transponder which is not detected during a race will be disqualified.  It is the responsibility of the racer to make sure their transponder's signal is being read by our system. 

Additionally, accidental failure to race without a transponder (forgetting to switch the transponder to another machine) will result in a DQ.

Racing level will be determined by lap times (Beginner, Novice, Expert).
Transponders are mandatory for all racers. Bike without a transponder will not be permitted to race.

M1GP continues to rent track bikes for private track days for corporate groups/private parties, special racing events and individuals. We plan to continue to rent bikes as unique part of the M1GP Experience.

Currently, we have a few HONDA NSR50-R rentals for practice days prior to M1GP races.

We rent our race bikes for M1GP race events to experienced racers only.
Riders with no race experience must have 1 practice or track-days with the model of M1GP rental bike and show an acceptible skill level and pace in order to be eligble to race an M1GP rental bike.

Our bikes are prepped in good working order. Commonly damaged parts are replaced with new parts (meaning you will be charged for NEW parts) and any damage will be noted at the time of rental with the renter present to note and agree to all existing damage prior to rental. Renters are expected to pay for any damage they cause during their period of rental.

Pricing for all parts and labor are listed on the rental agreement. The bike will be reviewed by the renter with a member of M1GP's staff for any damage.

PAYMENT: Rent and a $500 damage deposit must be paid UPFRONT, however if the cost to repair the bike to its rental condition exceeds $500, you will be responsible for that additional amount. If there is NO DAMAGE, the entire damage deposit will be returned. Our policy is simple.
No damage, no damage fee charged. There is a cleaning fee for each bike that is crashed with a minimum of 1hr @ $65 per hour.

RENTERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING AND INSTALL REPLACEMENT PARTS AND ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THEIR OWN FUEL. PERIOD. IF AFTERMARKET PARTS OR NON-M1GP FUEL IS USED BY RENTER, THE BIKE WILL BE CONFISCATED AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

Any crash damage which occurs must be reported by renter as soon as possible. All crash damage will be assessed when the bike is checked in and any charges for repair will be made and signed for by the renter at that time.
